About the Academy...
Melissa Aldrich Shelton started her head coaching career at the University of Virginia in 1995. The MAS Volleyball Academy, Inc. was developed at the University of Virginia for campers of all ages in the summer of 1996.
Coach Shelton has guided the Cavaliers to two bids to the NCAA Tournament. Her players have been honored with five All-Americans, ten NCAA All-Region, and 21 All-Atlantic Coast Conference selections.
Coach Shelton has developed and implemented a philosophy that revolves around each camper receiving an intense and personal experience.
Camp enrollment is kept low to allow each camper more opportunities. Therefore, each camper receives a more personalized instruction.
The Academy offers many different sessions to meet the needs of all female players. If you are a beginner or a more established player with a dream of competing on the collegiate level, you will find a session to improve your game.
